What Happens When You List Tokens on Presello

Presello

Before You List: What You Need

Listing tokens on Presello requires a few things in place before you begin.

You need a compatible wallet. Presello supports Web3 wallets via WalletConnect (which covers MetaMask, Trust Wallet, and dozens of other providers), as well as email-based sign-in for users who prefer not to manage a crypto wallet directly.

You need the tokens you want to sell in your wallet and they must be freely transferable. Vested tokens that have not yet unlocked cannot be deposited into the vault — you can only list tokens you currently hold and can transfer. If your tokens are distributed by a vesting contract, check how many have unlocked before attempting to list.

The project for your tokens must be registered and approved on Presello. A project is registered when the issuer has paid the setup fee, passed AI screening, and been granted a verified project page. If the project you hold tokens for is not listed, you will see a message when you search for it. You can contact Presello to request outreach to the project issuer.

Your wallet must not be on the OFAC sanctions list. This check runs automatically when you connect your wallet and attempt to list. The vast majority of regular participants will not be affected by this check.

If all of these conditions are met, you are ready to proceed with the listing flow.

Step 1: Connect Your Wallet and Find Your Project

Start by visiting presello.io and signing in. If you are using a Web3 wallet, select the WalletConnect option and scan the QR code with your mobile wallet, or connect directly through a browser extension. If you prefer email sign-in, you can create a Presello account with your email and use a managed wallet.

Once signed in, navigate to the project page for the token you want to sell. You can search by project name or token contract address from the main search bar.

On the project page, review the information displayed: the project's name and description, the risk rating (from the AI screening pipeline), the reference price and its source, and the current queue depth at each available discount tier.

Take a moment to look at the queue depth at each tier. This tells you how many tokens are already listed at each discount level ahead of you. A tier with a large queue means you will wait longer for your listing to fill. A tier with zero or few sellers means you will likely fill faster, but you may be offering a larger discount.

If the project page shows a RED or BLACK risk rating, review the audit details carefully before proceeding. These ratings indicate that the screening pipeline found concerning signals about the project.

Step 2: Choose Your Discount Tier and Enter Quantity

Click "Sell Your Tokens" on the project page to enter the listing flow. The first decision is your discount tier.

Tiers range from 5% to 95% off the reference price, in 5% increments. For each tier you are considering, the platform shows the dollar amount per token at that discount, the number of tokens already queued at that tier, and your estimated queue position if you list there.

The right tier depends on your situation. If you want to exit quickly and are willing to accept a deeper discount, choose a tier with a shorter queue even if the discount is larger. If you can wait and want to maximize proceeds, choose a shallower discount and accept a potentially longer wait.

Presello's AI system provides a recommended tier based on current queue depths and historical fill rates. This recommendation is informational only — it is not financial advice and you are not required to follow it.

After selecting a tier, enter the quantity of tokens you want to list. You can list any amount up to the balance in your wallet. If you want to list only part of your holdings, enter the partial amount. You can create multiple separate listings at different tiers if you want to split your allocation across discount levels.

The platform calculates and displays the expected proceeds: the sale price at your chosen tier minus the platform fee. During the current early access period, the fee is 0%.

Step 3: Pay the Listing Fee and Deposit to the Vault

After confirming your tier and quantity, you pay the listing fee. During early access, this fee is $0. After early access, a $1 listing fee applies per listing. The fee is paid through Guardarian and is non-refundable — it exists to prevent spam listings and is not returned if your listing is cancelled.

Once the listing fee is processed, the platform generates the vault deposit transaction. You will see the vault contract address and the exact token amount to deposit. This step requires an on-chain transaction: you are approving the token transfer and depositing your tokens into the smart contract.

Your wallet will ask you to sign two transactions in sequence. The first is an approval — authorizing the vault contract to pull the specified token amount from your wallet. The second is the deposit — actually transferring the tokens to the vault. Both transactions require gas fees, which are shown before you confirm.

Wait for both transactions to confirm on-chain before proceeding. BSC transactions typically confirm in under a minute under normal network conditions. The platform shows the status in real time and sends you a notification when the deposit is confirmed.

Once confirmed, your listing is live in the FIFO queue. Your tokens are now held in the vault smart contract and are no longer in your wallet. They will be there until either a buyer purchases them or you cancel the listing.

Step 4: Your Listing in the FIFO Queue

Once your tokens are in the vault and your listing is confirmed, you join the FIFO queue for your chosen discount tier. Your position in the queue is visible in your seller dashboard.

The dashboard shows: your queue position at each tier where you have an active listing, the total tokens ahead of you in the queue (from other sellers at the same tier), the historical purchase rate at that tier (how many tokens have been purchased per day at this discount), and an estimated time-to-fill based on current demand.

These estimates are not guarantees. Buyer demand fluctuates, and your fill time depends on how many buyers purchase at your tier before your position is reached. Listings at deeper discount tiers typically fill faster because the deals are more attractive to buyers.

You do not need to be online or actively monitoring when your listing fills. The vault executes automatically when a buyer completes a purchase that reaches your queue position. You will receive an email and dashboard notification confirming the sale, the quantity sold, and the USDT proceeds credited to your account.

If your listing has been in the queue for an extended period without filling, Presello's re-engagement system will notify you with an option to adjust your tier. Moving to a deeper discount will place you at the back of the new tier's queue, but may result in faster fills if demand at the deeper tier is higher.

Step 5: When Someone Buys — Getting Paid and Withdrawing

When a buyer's purchase reaches your listing position in the FIFO queue, several things happen automatically.

The buyer's USDT payment (or card payment converted to USDT) is confirmed. The vault executes the release: your tokens transfer from the vault to the buyer's vault balance. Your USDT proceeds are credited to your Presello seller balance, minus the applicable platform fee.

You receive a notification — email and dashboard — confirming the sale. The notification includes the quantity sold, the USDT amount credited, the fee deducted, and the net proceeds.

If your full listing quantity was purchased, your listing is closed. If only part was purchased (a partial fill), the remaining quantity stays in the queue at the same position. You receive proceeds for the portion sold, and the remainder continues to wait.

To access your USDT proceeds, navigate to the withdrawal section of your seller dashboard. Enter the wallet address you want to receive the USDT on BSC and the amount to withdraw. Confirm the withdrawal. Presello batches withdrawals for gas efficiency, so your withdrawal is processed in the next batch cycle — typically within a few hours.

Once the batch transaction confirms on-chain, the USDT arrives in your wallet. The platform sends a notification with the transaction hash, which you can verify on BSCScan to confirm the transfer.

Presello is a peer-to-peer resale marketplace. The platform facilitates the connection between sellers and buyers and provides vault escrow — it does not guarantee that any listing will fill within any particular time frame, and it does not set prices or provide investment advice. All listing decisions are yours to make.

Key Takeaways

  • 1Before listing, ensure your tokens are unlocked and transferable, the project is registered on Presello, and your wallet is not OFAC-flagged.
  • 2Choose your discount tier based on queue depth and your liquidity timeline. Deeper discounts typically fill faster.
  • 3Depositing to the vault requires two on-chain transactions: an approval and a transfer. Both need gas.
  • 4Once listed, you join the FIFO queue and do not need to be online when your listing fills — the vault executes automatically.
  • 5Proceeds are credited to your Presello balance after a sale confirms. Withdraw to any BSC wallet address at any time.
  • 6Presello does not guarantee listing fill times or project outcomes. All decisions about when and at what discount to list are yours.
